If you haven’t worked with smalti before then this is the workshop for you! If you have worked with smalti and would like to learn how to successfully blend colours then this is the workshop for you too! At this smalti workshop I will teach you how to achieve a contemporary mosaic full of texture and light. You will learn how to successfully blend colours to achieve a smooth transition whilst gaining a better understanding of tone. You will be taught how to cut your tesserae with a hammer and hardie and nippers as well as many more tips and tricks.
Medium level mosaic skills would be an advantage to attend this workshop.
Cost: $350 includes all materials, tea, coffee, biscuits and afternoon tea. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space in the workshop (unless the class is cancelled).
To be held at my Mosaics by Design Studio in Blackwood on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th March 2021 from 10am to 4pm.
