In this workshop you will have the opportunity to choose from 3 different processes to bring dimension to your mosaics by using sand to shape and form ripples, wire mesh to form twists and curves and foam to create light weight forms. All three forms will be coated with cement, suitable for hanging outdoors.
Whatever form you would like to create I will help you to determine the most suitable process for your desired result. Many substrates have been created at this workshop including an ant, snail,apple, tree of life, cactus, bird, magic carpet, masks, leaves, poppy, fish, lizard etc…
Cost: $300 includes materials fee, tea, coffee and afternoon tea. (Current students receive a 10% discount)
To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required.
